    Michael S. Miller

    Michael S. Miller is a co-founder and the President & CEO of Discerning the Faith. He is also the Deputy Director of Engineering, Test & Evaluation at Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation where he focuses on the development of new technology through applied research in aerospace, defense, wireless communication and cyber security. Throughout his career, Michael has served in various senior leaderships positions in the Department of Defense and tech industry. As an advisor in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, he was responsible for the development of over $2B in new and emerging technology to support combat operations. Prior to this, he spent several years teaching tactics and new technology integration into combat operations to senior military leaders around the world, but most notably at the Command General Staff College and Joint Forces Staff College. He is a also former USAF aviator who served several combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He is an ordained elder at a SBC church in Northern Virginia where he regularly teaches. Michael and Erin have two daughters who keep them busy, but occasionally they are able to enjoy playing a round of golf together. Michael also writes on his personal blog: michaelsmiller.org

    Erin Miller

    Erin Miller is the Vice President of Discerning the Faith Ministries and Director of Susannah Project. Erin is very active in the local community, serving as the Lead Coordinator for an American Heritage Girls (AHG) troop in Arcola, VA and leading various aspects of ministry at a local SBC church in Loudoun County, VA where her husband is an ordained elder. Erin attended Liberty University where she studied Psychology, received training in biblical counseling from the Association for Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL). As the founder of Susannah Project, she is passionate about finding methods to put biblical, theological resources in the hands of pastors abroad to assist them in faithfully ministering to their local congregations. The mother of two daughters, her day is typically very busy, but she also enjoys playing golf with her husband and spending time with their family whenever possible.

    Robert Rohr

    Bob Rohr is a native of Eastern Pennsylvania where he was born and raised.  He currently serves as an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) at Faith Reformed Presbyterian Church in Lancaster County, where he has served in various capacities since 1988 to include Chairman of the Deacon Board. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Bob continued a successful career in the telecommunications industry at several companies to include Dupont and retiring both as a manager from AT&T and as a member of the senior technical staff at Computer Sciences Corporation. Bob and his late wife, Marie, have two children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. One of his favorite passages is Ephesians 1:4-6, “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight; in love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will — to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Bob is also frequently found riding his bicycle on the backroads and hills of Amish country in Lancaster County.
